Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Crystalline formation of the Bohemian Massif, Svratka Crystalline. Small abandoned quarries exposing mica schists with garnet. Also layers of reddish orthogneisses similar to Svratka migmatites occur at this locality. Orientation of these layers is oblique in relation to foliation direction in mica schists.
