Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Svratka Crystalline. Old abandoned quarries exposing typical lithologic sequence of this unit. Fine grained biotite gneisses of erlan character prevail. They pass into mica-schist gneisses. In these rocks boudins of massive erlans occur, blocks of skarn can be also observed. Quartz dykes with muscovite cut this rock sequence.
