Short characteristics of the site:
The road cut with a series of rock outcrops.Most of these rocks represent two-mica paraggneisses paassing into pearl gneisses. These rock are in contact with so called Trhonice Marbles, which are exposed in nearby quarry. The pearl gneiss has a composition of two-mica gneiss up to biotite gneiss and contains plagioklase porphyroblasts. This locality belongs to the Polička Crystalline.
