Short characteristics of the site:
The old abandoned quarry on a slope overlooking the Fryšávka brook.In this quarry several centimetres up to metres thick beds of marble crop out alternating with beds of erlan of similar thickness. The erlans contain some pyrite nodules in places. All these rock bodies are surrounded by two mica gneissses and masses of the mica schists. This locality belongs to the Svratka River Crystalline.
