Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Svratka Crystalline. Rock waste with small outcrops. Bedrock consists of light biotitic up to two mica migmatite with amphibolite interlayers. Massive rocky scree occurs as a result of Pleistocene frost weathering. The summit of the Žákova hora Hill represents basic point of trigonometric network of the Czech Republic. Protected vegetation of virgin forest character with associated flora and fauna. This locality has a statute of National Nature Reserve.
