Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Forested hill dominating the area. Its summit part consists of a stock of nepheline basanite which was isolated by erosion from the surrounding Cretaceous sediments. Well developed columnar jointing in the basanite. Geomorphologically attractive locality.
