Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubicum, metamorphic units. Old abandoned quarry exposing several bodies of serpentinized Moldanubian peridotites. This serpentinite is deep green and contains bronzite crystals. Fracture planes are locally covered by minerals of a serpentine group.
