Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubicum, metamorphic units. Rocky cliff 10 m high and surrounding natural outcrops. Bedrock consists oof nebulitic anatectic migmatite. Nearby migmatite contains large crystals of black turmaline. Distinct mineral lineation. This locality shows characteristic development of migmatites on this map sheet.
