Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubicum, Třebíč and Jihlava massif. Abandoned quarries and other old mining workings. Typical relief affected by anthropogenic processes. Crystalline limestone(marble) was quarried there. Largest quarry has been flooded, in neighbouring area there are numerous spoil dumps. Quarried limestone was used for processing of iron ores. This locality is recommended for protection in the Protected landscape Area.
