Short characteristics of the site:
Carpathian Foredeep, Neogene. Snall abandoned quarry exposing a unique sequence of petromictic conglomerates with overlying sands, calcrete and calcareous sands. They pass into bioclastic limestones with numerous pelecypod shells.
