Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Svratka Crystalline. Old abandoned shelf quarry with outcrops of skarns with garnet and pyroxene. With increasing amount of garnet they pass into garnetites, locally into erlans. Vein-like bodies of pegmatites penetrate through skarn massif. Well known mineralogical locality.
