Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Silesian and Subsilesian units, Quaternary. Abandoned loam pit with brick raw material. Uppermost part of this outcrop is formed of loamy loesses of the Last Glacial age. Lower, lacustrine clays and silts with glacifluvial sands and gravels occur. Lacustrine clays are laminated, in fluvioglacial gravel also clasts of nordic origin occur. Palynological studies revealed history of climate changes during Last Glacial.
