Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Jeseníky Mts, Lower Carboniferous - Culm. Old quarry with blackish shales of the Kyjovce Beds. Stratigraphically they belong to the Upper Viséan. Interesting funal remains, mainly goniatites and ichnofossils. Large bedding planes are exposed with some sedimentary structures.
