Geology
Short characteristics of the site: 
Giant active quarry with four levels. It exposes mainly tonalites up to granodiorites.  Xenoliths are abundant and are of different types as follows: muscovite-biotite gneisses, pyrrhotite plus quartz, rocks with garnet, wollastonite, sillimanite, etc. Pegmatite veins are abundant. Important mineralogical locality. It belongs to the Polička Crystalline Unit.
