Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
The Polička Crystalline, Proterozoic. Old and partly vegetated quarry exhibits several types of tonalites. Medium grained biotite tonalite with garnet is exposed. Niumerous veinlets of muscovite and muscovite-biotite aplites with turmaline penetrate through a granodiorite body. Also some pegmatite veins are present.
