Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Kutná Hora and Čáslav Crystalline. Outcrop on Doubrava River bank, formed of skarn. Fine grained, dark parts, are rich in pyroxene, reddish parts are enriched in garnet. Two types of garnet are described from this locality. Similar and minor skarn bodies are rare in the Kutná Hora Crystalline.
