Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Large relics of mine working mainly in form of sinks with blocs and fragments of skarn ores and erlans. On this ore deposit iron ores were exploited, specially magnetite and limonite for local processing. The mineral composition of skarns proves several stages of metamorphic impact. Iron mining took place in the middle of 19th century. Later surveying concerned possible presence of uranium ores. This locality belongs to the Protected Landscape Area "Ždárské vrchy - the Žďár Hills".
