Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Permocarboniferous, Central- anbd Western Bohemian basins. Large area with springs fields. Bedrock consists Carboniferous sediments, alternation of claystones, siltstones, arkoses, subarkoses and conglomerates. Stratigraphically this section belongs to the Kladno Formation. Also thin coal seams occur. Quaternary is represented by peat bogs. Nature reserve with interesting flora.
