Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Barrandian Proterozoic. National Nature Reserve. Series of rocky cliffs overlooking the Vltava River valley. Numerous outcrops of spilites, greywackes and lydites. Rocks are locally deeply wetheared, slopes are covered with blocky scree. Varied floral association of rocky steppes with a Sesleria genus.
