Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
The Bohemian Cretaceous Massif. Brook valley with steep rocky slopes on the two sides. Castellated sandstone relief with numerous pillars, towers and some caves in the Cretaceous quadersandstones. Permeable sandstones are underlain by marlstones. Small outcrop of calcareous tuffa is also present. At valley face a small sandstone massif with famous and preserved castle named Kost (the Bone in English) dominates.
