Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Kutná Hora Crystalline. Abandoned magnetite mine. Former skarn deposit rich in magnetite and with pegmatites with pyrite and pyrrhotite mainly along fissures. Migmatized two mica paragneisses serves as a host rock. Sulphides of lead and zinc also occur. Interesting apatite occurrence. This locality is protected also as wintering ground of bats. This locality is classified as the Natural Monument.
