Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Outcrops at the top of the Kozinec hill (c. 608). Massive and amygdaloidic andesitoide with subordinate layers of tuffs and tuffites and rare xenoliths of sediments. Genetically they are lava-flows with some pyroclastics, occurring especially at the base of volcanic body. According to the interpretation of Schovánková (1989) volcanics of Levín Highlend are stratovolcano. Au - Ag mineralisation was evidenced here.
