Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Small rocky outcrops in surroundings of Levín hill (c. 508). Both, massive and amygdaloidic andesite of Levín Highland. It is a complicated volcanic body formed by lava-flows and subordinate layers of tuffs and tuffites, interpreted (Schovánková 1989) as stratovolcano. Well known locality of attractive agates and jaspers found both in andesites and in deluvial deposits N of the hill.
