Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Summit of the Luční Hora (the Meadow Mount) is covered by large stone field. Its blocks consist of metaquartzite and have been released by frost weathering. These metaquarzites form interlayers in bodies of muscovite-chlorite mica schists. Both metaquartzites and mica schists have been affected by contact metamorphism in the vicinity of granitoids of the Krkonoše-Jizera Massif. This locality is situated in the National Park Krkonoše.
