Short characteristics of the site:
The Cheb and Sokolovo basins and volcanics of the Doupovské hory Mts. Outcrop of layers of welded tuffs and tuffaceous agglutinates with graded bedding. Rock fragments are as large as 70 cm across. This complex is interpreted as a relic of original scoria fan which has been accumulated by a Hawaiian eruption during last stages of volcanic activity.
