Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Kutná Horas - Svratka Region. Outcrop in an elevation and nearby abandoned quarry. A serpentinized ultrabasic rock crops out there. It is intensively weathered, dark green up to blake with macroscopically visible fibers of antophyllite. This serpentinite body is enclosed within biotite paragneiss of the Oheb Crystalline. Serpentinite contains altered olivine and also talc.
