Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Kutná Hora Crystalline. Outcrop on an elevation summit showing medium grained muscovite orthogneiss. This locality resembles an exfoliation dome deliminated by a frost cliff with blocky accumulation along its foot. This relief reminds activity of periglacial processes and formation of a cryoplanational terrace. Exposed rock can be classified as medium grained, locally banded erlan with following mineral association: Quartz - clinopyroxene - garnet - plagioclase - epidote - clinozoisite - sphene.
