Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned Cu-deposit between Rybnice and Škodějov villages. It is situated to the reverse fault separating Permian sediments from the epizonaly metamorphed rocks (mostly sericite phyllite) of the Krkonoše - Jizerské hory crystalline complex. Dark grey mostly bitumenous and calcareous mudstone, pelitic limestone, grey sandstone and rare conglomerate are most common sediments of this locality. They crop out is small outcrops and are also on old refuse pile together with Cu - minerals: chalcosine, malachite and azurite.
