Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubicum, metamorphic units, geomorphology, Šumava Mts. Steep cliff, so called Jezerní stěna (Lake cliff), overlooks glacial Černé jezero (the Black Lake). Kar relief affected by frost weathering and postglacial processes. Accumulation of scree along cliff foot. National Nature Reserve, part of National Park.
