Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Silesicum and Žulová Massif. Active quarry expoiting crystalline limestone used as decoration stone (Lipová Marble?). Slight banding is caused by graphite admixture. Small amount of pyrite. Traces of weathering and karstification in upper parts of the quarry. The locality is recommended for protection.
