Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Silesicum and Žulová Massif. Large abandoned quarry. Crystalline limestone of the Upper Member of Branná Group was quarried there. The rock is tectonically deformed with folds and tectonic lenses of phyllite. Overturned anticline of muscovite-biotite phyllite is exposed in the central part of the quarry. The locality is recommended for protection.
