Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Silesicum and Žulová Massif. Quarry with amphibolites which are in basal parts cut by two dykes of tectonically deformed pegmatite and in upper parts by a dyke of porphyritic muscovite granite. Metamorphic stage of amphibolite corresponds to sillimanite zone. Interesting finds of minerals in amphibolite fissures.
