Geology

Short characteristics of the site: A natural issue of mineral water and gas (a mofette) in the Plesná Stream valley at Vackovec in the Tertiary Cheb Basin. The gases are composed of carbon dioxide (99 %) and helium. Helium isotope composition indicates a deep source of the gases.
