Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Traces after extensive tin mining and processing from the 16th to 20th centuries 1 km SW of Přebuz on the slope of Hartelsberg Hill. The main Otto shaft has a preserved pit frame (technical monument). Tin mineralization of greisen type is hosted by granites of the Karlovy Vary pluton. A mineralogical site (topaz, opal, secondary minerals of As, Cu, Bi, U) and an important site for the study of ore genesis.
