Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
A set of natural outcrops of granites of the Karlovy Vary pluton 4 km NE of Kraslice. Granite morphologies are modified by frost weathering in the Pleistocene, forming rock walls, tors, mushroom rocks, frost-riven cliffs and boulder fields. Slope deformations are common. This relief also produces a set of specific ecosystems with rare flora.
