Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Very attractive locality on the river bank near the Štěchovice dam. Upper part of the Kralupy-Zbraslav Group is well exposed together with contact of the Jílové belt with the overlying unit. Interesting tectonic phenomena, cleavage and several types of volcanic dykes.
