Short characteristics of the site:
Barrandian Neoproterozoic. Rocky ridge at foot of Velíz Hill. Hard resistant lydite, siliceous rock, blackish with light quartz veins. Laterally passes into siliceous schists. Vegetated by self-seeded woody plants, recently clearcut.
