Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Central Bohemian Magmatic Complex. Porphyric Říčany granite with fine grained aplitic granite. In the southeastern part of this area also metamorphites of pluton mantle occur and also some Permocarboniferous terrestric sediments. Bedrock is covered by great variability of Quaternary sediments. In this area a beech woodland with interesting types of flora is protected. This locality is registered as a National Nature Reserve.
