Short characteristics of the site:
Tertiary alkaline volcanics. This volcanic hill is one of dispersed occurrences of Tertiary alkaline volcanics in the West Bohemia. This volcanic body is small and penetrates through Neoproterozoic phyllites. This body consists of a fill of volcanic vent and consists of agglomerates and breccias. Associated basalt lava flow crops out in nearby quarry.
