Short characteristics of the site:
Barrandian, Neoproterozoic and Late Palaeozoic.Gallery adit at the Mže River. Ore bearing veins cut through Neoproterozoic spilites and phyllites. Neoproterozoic rocks are also cut by paleorhyolite, paleodacite and paleoandesite veins. Nearby Permocarboniferous sediments of the Vranov Basin occur, preserved only as small relics. Quaternary cover consists oif eluvial and colluvial clayey and sandy deposits.
