Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
An abandoned clay pit 13 m deep at Strkovice near Postoloprty. The extracted clays belong to the Tertiary fill of the Most Basin and were used as ceramic, non-refractory material. A mineralogical site with gypsum crystals.
