Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Barrandian Proterozoic. Steep slopes overlooking Berounka River valley with rocky outcrops and rock waste. Upper Proterozoic rocks consist of slightly metamorphosed schists and greywackes. Slopes are covered with blocky up to loamy deposits. Protected vegetation, important ooccurrence of common yew (Taxus baccata).
