Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
The Teplá Crystalline and surrounding metamorphic rocks. Wetlands of raised peat bog character. Some exhalation of mofette type, CO2 exhalations are accompanied by traces of H2S. Gas leakage occurs along boundaries between serpentinite and granite bodies.
