Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Deep stream canyon which exposes sediments of the Barrandian Upper Proterozoic and Paleozoic. The Upper Proterozoic is represented by the Štěchovice Group (petromictic paraconglomerates, shales, greywackes). Proterozoic is separated fom the Ordovician Letná Formation by a Závist overthrust.
