Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
A high-moor peat bog 1.5 km NW of Přebuz, near Stříbrná. The pat-bog is partly exploited, providing good vertical sections reaching from peat to the underlying kaolin layer and to granites of the Younger Intrusive Complex of the Karlovy Vary pluton. Depressions in the peat bog are remains after tin mining in the Kronesberg district. A nature reserve.
