Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
A peat bog 5 km west of Hazlov near Cheb, at the boundary with Germany. The peat bog fills a circular depression in porphyritic biotite granites to granodiorites of the Smrčiny pluton. A former pond, now the spring area of the Libský potok brook. The site is protected as a nature reserve.
