Short characteristics of the site:
Central Bohemian and West Bohemian Late Palaeozoic. Outcrops of sandstones and conglomerates of Late Carboniferous Týnec Formation. Bedrock is covered by Quaternary regolith, fluvial sediments, rock waste and peat bog organic deposits.
