Short characteristics of the site:
Cliffs in the Telčský potok Stream valley between Brandov and Kalek, near the border with Germany. Bizarre-shaped cliffs are composed of leucocratic to muscovite orthogneisses of the core of the Hora Sv. Kateřiny Dome. Relicts of muscovite-biotite paragneisses of the outer part of the dome are preserved on cliff tops. This locality is recommended for protection.
