Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
An old spoil bank on the S margin of Brandov, Krušné hory Mountains. The 200 m long spoil bank belongs to the former Zdař Bůh coal mine, which exploited anthracite from sediments of the Permo-Carboniferous Brandov Basin in 1826-1924. Dark grey siltstones contain plant fossils (Sigillaria, Calamites).
