Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Carpathians, Magura Group of Nappes. Abandoned shelf quarry exposing seduence of the Luhačovice Beds of the Zlín Formation. Massive, positively graded beds of brownish subarkoses prevail. Glauconite admixture is present in the upper part of this section. In lowermost parts scattered quartz pebbles together with greenish clay galls are present.
